Nova53 Update - July 31, 2018

This message is regarding an important change to our infrastructure. To be aligned with our end goal for our future network vision, we have joined the RIPE NCC, as an LIR, in April 2018. As a result, we have new IP space that has been pushed to all of our locations, and proper filtering on upstream providers has been applied.

This work has been a process done behind the scenes, and not customer impacting until this point. With that being said, we are now at the point where we must give back our prior IP space.

This only effects those that have opted to use vanity name servers on our platform. If you have decided to use this, please see the following wiki article for the new IPs that you should be using.

**Please have this completed by end of August 31, 2018**

If you also registered your domain when we were using “*”, as name servers, please also update your registrars to use the four (4) name servers above. We request that you also have this completed by August 31, 2018.

Failure to not have this completed by the requested date above may result in interruptions to your zone being properly resolvable.

If you have any questions, comments, or feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Hello Nova53 members!

You are all over due for an update! This may be long winded, but please read fully as we are excited with what we have done, and our future.

Some key things that you may or may not have noticed:

A popular feature request was the notification of unsaved changes. This has been added and a notice will appear the moment you add/modify/delete a record, to save your changes. Upon a successful save of changes, the page will refresh automatically for you.

Our service is accessible from the URL that was used in beta ( and our URL that actually has our name in it – We strongly suggest you start using the new URL (, as the old will be phased out in the future.

We also have a NOC email, that you may submit help requests to:

When emailing this address, you will receive a confirmation of receipt and a ticket number within 5-10 minutes. If this is your first time submitting an email ticket, you will receive an additional email requesting you to create your account on our support platform, so you may track the progress of tickets. All tickets will receive email updates when their status changes, so you do not need to constantly check the support portal for an update, but you may choose to add additional details once the ticket has been created.

The support portal may be found here – – and this will redirect you accordingly.

We also have a public knowledgebase instance available for current and future KBs – (

Our Dynamic DNS is functioning at this point, and instructions may be found here -

We are also on social media, so please give us a follow and share with your friends -

We have introduced this service as a beta in the summer of 2017, but we have migrated out of that phase several months ago. With this being said, we have a new GUI in the works, along with a fully functioning API. We are also looking to introduce additional feature-rich record abilities with the launch of the new GUI while in beta.

The new features for the records will include a health checker, and a auto selection of which record to served based on its health. This will be beneficial to those with multiple ISPs to provide a redundant connection for their services, without the need for manual intervention at the DNS level for a failover in the event a ISP were to suffer and outage.

Also if you really enjoy the service and would like to donate to the cause, there is a "Donate" button at the base of every page now.

If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!

Thank you,

Team Nova53
